The computer hangs in the plants

The wall is a false one. K4shera built it from OSB, ran every cable behind it in PVC conduit, and faced it with strips cut from an acacia worktop. An artificial plant wall goes over the strips, screwed through its own backing net, and it hides the wires that come down from the control panel. Only the audio wires show, along the top.

The computer hangs in the middle of that wall, open, in a Thermaltake Core P3 on a television mount. It is water cooled. The cover over the power supply is black plexiglass, engraved with a laser and lit from behind by a white LED, and the picture in it is a Zaku firing.

A lit case stands on either side, half a metre tall, cut from MDF on a CNC machine and glazed with plexiglass. K4shera made them because nothing affordable would hold a 1/60 kit, and screwed them straight through the OSB. The ring light in each one is LED strip bent into a circle. The left case holds a bootleg Tallgeese, the Monument Repair Type. A Strike stands beside it, and it is due to be swapped for the 1/60 Rusty from Armored Core 6.

The desk top is pine, on black cabinets. The one on the right is an IKEA kitchen cabinet with deep drawers laid out in gridfinity trays, and the one on the left holds a 3D printer. The fronts of both were cut on the CNC machine in tinted MDF.

A wooden panel of toggle switches sits under the ultrawide screen, and it switches the lights, the screen and the computer, because the GT34 has a poor switch of its own. The lights in the cases are for the photograph. At the desk, only the backlight behind the slats stays on.
