The plants go in the shower

vilBe1 built the desk himself and set it into the corner. The wall behind it is real brick, painted white, and the ceiling above it is planked and painted to match. A panel of black slats stands behind the screen, about as wide as the screen is, and the desk carries a pale top with the grain left showing.

All the greenery is artificial, which is the only reason there can be this much of it. Vines hang off the shelf over the desk and off the top of the slats, a block of ferns and fronds sits on the brick beside them, and a tall plant stands in the corner by the window. When they get dusty they go into the shower with him.

The screen is an Alienware AW3425DW, curved, with the window off to one side of it. Looked at straight on there is no glare. The keyboard sits at the far left of the mat with a rolled wrist rest beside it: a Meletrix Zoom65 V3, the case powdercoated green, on HMX Jammy linear switches under PBTfans Emma keycaps.

The computer stands on the desk beside the screen rather than under it. It is white inside and out, behind glass, with the pump and the tubes of a water loop across the top and white fans down two sides. A small round speaker sits by the screen, a black mat covers the middle of the desk, and the chair is a ThunderX3 XTC in grey mesh, with a sofa behind it under the window.
