Three metres back for the music

stormjk3511's desk is two IKEA Gerton tabletops, 155 by 75 cm each, on Olov legs, with an Alex drawer unit in the middle, offset to the right, anchoring the pair. It runs over three metres, and that width is what the speakers need.

Two 40 inch Prism+ PG400U Pro monitors sit side by side, with a 43 inch Prism+ TV on top of them. The left screen is the working one, the right takes the lighter work, and the TV carries the entertainment. A webcam clips to the top right corner of it.

The audio is the point of the room. A pair of Bowers & Wilkins 607 S2 AE bookshelf speakers stand at the ends of the desk on IsoAcoustics Aperta stands, over checkerboard wooden blocks. A NAD C3030 drives them, a FiiO R2R tube DAC feeds it, and a REL T5/x under the right end of the desk takes the low end. For music alone the chair goes back two to three metres, reclined, feet up.

The wall behind is Uimoso slat panels, which went up for the sound. Two mosaic acoustic panels from The Furniture Family flank the screens, and wooden diffuser panels came from eBay. A warm strip of light runs along the top of the wall.

The keyboard is a Leobog Hi75, with an Eweadn NK20 numpad beside it. The mouse is a Logitech G502 X on a Logitech Powerplay pad, which charges it while it works. Two 8BitDo controllers stand in front of the amplifier, and a watch winder holds four watches at the left of the desk.

The PC is on the desk at the right, in a white case with a white water loop. A NAS and a network box sit under the desk beside it. One abstract wave picture from Unsplash runs across both monitors, and foobar2000 fills the TV above them with a spectrum.
