Twenty thousand dollars, well lit
A three monitor room build with a Noctua flavoured PC, a Secretlab desk, studio lighting and a camera on an arm.
Pumim's room is lit like a film set. A softbox hangs from the ceiling over the desk, a smaller light fills in from the other side, and the slat wall behind takes the spill. The key light runs at about twenty per cent and is angled away from the wall.
Three 27 inch 4K OLED monitors share the desk, one of them standing on end, with a laptop on a stand to the right. A camera on an arm looks back at the chair, and the microphone hangs from a second arm. The studio monitors sit on isolation stands.
The whole room came to about twenty thousand dollars, and the PC is about seven thousand of that. It is built around a Noctua edition RTX 5080, chosen over the 5090 out of caution about the power connector. A meter on that connector shuts the machine down if one pin draws too much.
The cabinets on the right are lit and empty. They are waiting for camera gear.
The brand of the monitors was not given. Neither were the studio monitors, the audio interface or the keyboard.
