The monitor stands on an easel
A dorm desk in cream and warm wood, with a 16 inch screen on a wooden artist's easel, four keyboards, and a small PC with dried flowers inside it.
Aeternaea took this setup to a college dorm. The PC travelled by car, with the graphics card carried separately in a keyboard case and the glass side panel taken off, to get both there whole.
The screen is a 16 inch Uperfect at 240 Hz, small enough for a desk of about 30 inches, and it stands on a wooden artist's easel. It wants one cable to the graphics card and a second to the wall, because the port alone does not carry enough power for it.
The PC beside it is an A3, with a slatted wood front and a warm light inside, and dried flowers arranged in it clear of the fans and the airflow. The dorm has no air conditioning, so it idles at about 55 degrees at the processor and 40 at the card, and reaches about 75 and 65 under load.
An IKEA Skadis pegboard carries most of the rest: three keyboards, a headphone stand, a pen cup and a note card for the week. The fourth keyboard, a Rainy75 in acrylic, sits on the desk. They are a collection, built as a hobby, and each has a sound of its own, so the choice changes with the day.
The headset is a Fractal Scape. It charges on its stand, and it turns itself off and on as it comes off and goes back. The mouse is an ATK Blazing Sky F1 Pro Max. A eucalyptus vine hangs down the left of the pegboard, the mat carries a line drawing, and the window on the right throws the whole desk into warm afternoon light.
